The Commission on Devolution in Wales held its seventh meeting on Monday 14th and Tuesday 15th May in Cardiff.
At the meeting, Commission members were updated on activities since the last meeting and the minutes of the previous meeting were signed off.
Commission members discussed a number of issues, including VAT, Crown Estates and Accountability. The Commission’s work programme and timetable were also discussed.
Oral evidence was taken from representatives from the Country Land and Business Association (CLA) and the Confederation of British Industry (CBI). In addition, a lively session was held with a range of business representatives to collect the views of the business community.
Commission members reflected on their programme of public events, which by the end of the month will have seen the Commission visit all local authorities areasin Wales.
The next Commission meeting will take place on 11 June in Cardiff.
